Starting with being asked to prove somebody a communist, Wolfe ends up solving the murder of a high-level criminal (probably a top associate of Zeck, the criminal mastermind). Along the way, he receives packages of cash totalling $65k from Zeck, and also has the orchid rooms on the roof of his house machine-gunned.
