Franconia Sculpture Park

Ctein and I stumbled over this sculpture park on the way to Taylors Falls to see if we could find anything interesting to photograph.  It turned out to be a very good collection of serious sculpture, not just a local hobby project. The sculptures on display are from artists all around the country and some from beyond, and some of them are very good. It looks from the web site like they also do work with local children, which may partly explain why it exists out there.

If you at all like that kind of thing, and get anywhere near it, you should consider stopping to take a look. It’s free (donations requested, but the signs don’t try to deliver a guilt trip).
