At least for now. I’ve made thumbnails bigger and higher quality (since people have more bandwidth today), and given vertical pictures equal treatment (since people have bigger screens, except when they don’t). And made a few upgrades in the maintenance software as well, that only concern me. And increased space between thumbnail boxes some. And added my logo initials to each page.
First phase of a modest photo gallery redesign has gone live. I’ve cooled the colors a little, added some texture to the background the thumbnails appear against, and increased a couple of font sizes.
Still playing with things to do with the title and description, ways to make them not break the boundaries and such.
This is mostly relevant to my snapshot album, since that’s much more active and much larger.
Time to consider the next major upgrade to photo gallery capabilities. Some of the things I want are on my end, and some are on your end. And I’m at least slightly interested in your thoughts on the “your end” capabilities. Continue reading Thoughts on Photo Galleries
