Book Note: Robert Goldsborough, Murder in E Minor

I read this book about 12-Dec-2022. This is the first time I've read this book. The book is copyright 1986. This note was last modified Tuesday, 13-Dec-2022 21:39:38 PST.

This is book 1 of the "Nero Wolfe Continuation" series.

This note does not contain major spoilers for the book.

First of Goldsborough's continuation of the Nero Wolfe series. I'm generally not a big fan of such continuations, but sometimes I read some of them anyway.

This one is pretty decent. Archie is rather like himself, as is Wolfe and even Cramer. In the first one, on the one hand he's presumably still learning his way a little, but on the other hand he hasn't had time to get bored yet.

This one involves an orchestra conductor, some other board members, the assistant conductor, some musicians, and some old connections back to Nero Wolfe's time as a young man in Montenegro.
