Book Note: W.E.B. Griffin, Men In Blue

This is book 1 of the "Badge of Honor" series.

Originally published as by "John Kevin Dugan". I guess it's the second book in this series that I have in an edition that gives only that name. The "Badge of Honor" series, Philadelphia police.

There are a few really annoying copy-editing errors, particularly the changing history of the "Civil Disobedience Squad". First it's something Wohl served on when younger, then it's a new idea and Wohl doesn't know if the current head was shipped there to reward him or get rid of him, then it's back into Wohl's history again.

I hadn't remembered that Matt Payne, who becomes one of the important ongoing characters, is hardly introduced in this book.
