Really, I haven't blogged this before?

This is the fifth book of the series; he added this to the rank sequence between colonels and generals, and The Aviators and The New Breed after the end.

This has a lot to do with Green Beret activity in Cuba and Africa and Vietnam. It has the story of Lt. Ellis taking his A-team to Cuba successfully, and not long afterwards getting a fatal infection in Vietnam by going on a patrol he wasn't supposed to be on (using his connection to Phil Parker to get information on the Viet Cong activity in the area and leading the Berets to them).

It's kind of disjointed.
