Third "Presidential Agent" novel. Politically objectionable in that it takes for granted that the President can order people to break the law, and that it's a good thing to do sometimes; that the official system doesn't work (the Destroyer novels have that premise as well, of course, going back to the 1970s).
We bounce around the southern US, Northern Europe, and South America, juggling overly straightlaced FBI agents with Russian Mafiosi, renegade former STASI members, and a huge dog, trying to find out who murdered the bagman in the oil-for-food scandal.
Like nearly all Griffin series, it involves owning airplanes—the best one yet, a Gulfstream III.
