Published as by "Alex Baldwin", and with a cover quote from Griffin!
More OSS stuff during WWII. The characters aren't as compelling as in the better of his books, and the plots are more confused and scattered. All his normal tropes are present—in fact in the OSS he has a rather high percentage of rich people, quite naturally.
They're concerned with uranium ore for the atomic bomb, jet engine manufacture, and keeping General DeGaulle in line; quite a full schedule really!
