This note contains spoilers for the book.

I read a draft, so as usual I'll keep the detail level down to help avoid too many spoilers. Still some though.

This is a Tam Lin story, set around a hockey team. Sports competition apparently counts as knighthood, so if you fall off your skates, the Queen of Air and Darkness can catch you and own you.

Things just haven't been right since the North Stars left, anyway. The Wild Hunt is getting uppity, roaring around on their snowmobiles killing people now and then, and generally being a nuisance, too.

Luckily, there are a few people who remember some of the old lore, including a Finnish hockey player and Janet's grandmother and even Thomas "Tam" Lin's sister.
