Another accidental reread, it was sitting around after Marissa returned it, and I grabbed it while waiting for people to gather around to go out somewhere or other. And went ahead and finished it.

McGee is having a bit of a hard time, really, and doing too much amateur psychotherapy. Gets caught up in a nasty thing, in a nasty county. These books don't make me want to live in rural Florida, let me tell you.

Definitely a high body count, as I see I observed last time. Including one that McGee disposes of (the body, not the person) and doesn't tell the sheriff.
