Seemed like another Parker book was a decent choice. I dunno, though. No obvious signs of The Rot, but I wasn't that pleased. I didn't like him going quite that berserk after his client was murdered, in particular. Also his considerable experience with The Mob doesn't even come up when investigating their penetration of a movie studio (and in fact the holding company above).
