Book Note: Ellis Peters, The Confession of Brother Haluin

I read this book about 26-Oct-2004. I've read this book before. The book is copyright 1988. This note was last modified Monday, 19-May-2014 16:52:39 PDT.

This is book 15 of the "Brother Cadfael" series.

This note contains spoilers for the book.

The fifteenth Brother Cadfael book. Twisty, and involves fewer murders than originally claimed. And a rather nasty bitter old woman, who's apparently been like that forever.

A brother injured in a construction accident (fixing the roof after a major snow collapsed it partially) miraculously survives, sets out to clear his conscience, and discovers that everything he knows is wrong; or at least that the events that dominated his life were lies. And comes to accept his vocation even more happily.
