Book Note: Ellis Peters, The Hermit of Eyton Forest

I read this book about 25-Oct-2004. I've read this book before. The book is copyright 1988. This note was last modified Monday, 19-May-2014 16:53:16 PDT.

This is book 14 of the "Brother Cadfael" series.

This note contains spoilers for the book.

The fourteenth Brother Cadfael novel. And I've run out of our paperback copies, and have switched to the hardcovers. (We also have hardcover of some of the earlier ones, but I prefer paperbacks for reading whenever available.) And we're getting into the ones I haven't reread often -- perhaps not even at all.

Seems like a somewhat darker, more complicated story. We've actually got a man impersonating a priest after betraying his liege lord for personal profit, along with the more typical runaway villein and the well-born girl who loves him.
