Book Note: Dudley Pope, Ramage's Signal

I read this book about 16-Feb-2003. This is the first time I've read this book. The book is copyright 1980. This note was last modified Tuesday, 18-Feb-2003 11:53:36 PST.

This note contains spoilers for the book.

The 11th Ramage book.

Poking around the Mediterranean, about the only British ship there, Ramage ends up taking a new-style telegraph station (not big swinging arms, but an array of shuttered windows) long enough to follow traffic for a while, and eventually to send his own message, to bring a convoy to be captured.

The structure of this one seems somewhat lumpy and unbalanced, but there are lots of good bits. No big payoff, though.
