Book Note: Rex Stout, The Final Deduction (#2)

I read this book about 9-Jun-2002. I've read this book before. The book is copyright 1955. This note was last modified Thursday, 19-Dec-2002 16:36:05 PST.

This note contains spoilers for the book.

This one always seems a bit flat to me (though I never remember that far enough in advance to protect myself). I think Rex Stout, not just Nero Wolfe, had some problems with marginal income tax rates up to 91%, and took every opportunity to grind that axe. Well, I agree with him, but sometimes it's not really good for the books.
