Another Zeck book; probably they were near each other on the shelf because of that, and I didn't really pick them at random. The cover of this one also blows another major surprise—it shows panes of the greenhouse on the roof broken by gunfire.
Wolfe continues to try to avoid coming to grips with Zeck, without compromising his self-esteem. So far, it's working; though Zeck isn't making it easier. He actually hires Wolfe for one part of the investigation himself.
