Yet more of protecting the world from lurking horrors. The Laundry novels are each a pastiche of a British spy author, and this one is Anthony Price, which is fun. Not only is Nikolai Panin a character, but so is Mike Ford (he runs a laboratory section).

We also learn more about Angleton. And about Bob's wife Maureen, and that damned violin of hers (no doubt literally damned).

Haunted airplanes, or a haunted squadron. A penetration agent working as a volunteer in historic preservation.

AND Case Nightmare Green.
