Book Note: Stuart Woods, Bel-Air Dead

I read this book about 20-Apr-2016. This is the first time I've read this book. The book is copyright 2011. This note was last modified Tuesday, 14-Jun-2016 09:40:22 PDT.

This is book 20 of the "Stone Barrington" series.

This note contains spoilers for the book.

Random late book in a series, picked off the library shelf (glancing through it looked interesting).

Protagonist is a high-power lawyer with law background, working with billionaire clients. This one was a bit interesting in that, in a lot of ways, he was a spectator throughout.

There's a fight to preserve a motion picture studio (and no discussion of why moving to a place with cheaper land wouldn't work well), and a few murders. No actual clue about where the expertise to perform the murders came from, either.

A pleasant reading experience, which I may take a shot at repeating. I'm guessing the earlier books bring him up to this level, and he might be more active in those.
