Gossip columnists, publishers of gossip columnists, publishers of the above and also of legitimate news. They'are all very confused, it sounds like.
I'm starting to wonder if Stone may have taken too many blows to the head. And this is just the second book.
Ex-CIA bad boys are taking their revenge it looks like. I never did quite get what they were getting revenge for. I'm sure it's in there somewhere.
And Stone has questionable sex with a suspect or witness. I think we have a pretty clear idea of his sexual preferences—he seems to go for things that move.
He never really has any evidence that his client killed her secretary, but we know she did.
