I read this book about 10-Apr-2003. This is the first time I've read this book. The book is copyright 1997. This note was last modified Monday, 19-May-2014 16:45:06 PDT.
This is book 2 of the "Timeline Wars" series.

Second in "Timeline Wars".
I still like the main character. In this one, he gets to meet a Closer agent well enough to get to know him. Worse, the closer agent is himself from another timeline. He's not pleased with himself.
Although the title didn't include it, I notice the previous book had a major fight scene on a burning zeppelin. This one has an early dirigible of the English navy—and a fight scene on it.
The Closers are fighting dirty. Not only did they bring in the alternate of the main character, they also brought in an alternate of King George.
