Quick reread. I may now own two copies of this one; I wonder where the other one is?

There are weird jumps in technology and personnel; clearly deliberate, to get around people who don't remember a world without cell phones and computers. But still very much a jump. Also some of the political players change to new names with no background, and that makes things very weird.

I don't know if there's been a real time jump, or what, and it's annoying.
