Book Note: Nathan Lowell, Solar Clipper Traders series

I read this book about 12-Apr-2014. I've read this book before. The book is copyright 0. This note was last modified Monday, 05-May-2014 22:16:05 PDT.

This is book 0 of the "Solar Clipper Trader Tales" series.

This note does not contain major spoilers for the book.

First reread, of the first 5 books of the series.

I still like these a lot. Ishmael Wang goes through life doing well by doing good. He gets on well with others, helps when he can, is able to accept help when offered, works hard to do his part. Most of the books have nothing like an antagonist or even a central problem to solve.

It's possible, though I'm not sure, that you can't do very many books that rise to the very highest levels of greatness without more conflict. But few books do rise to those levels; most of the books I read are far below that level. And I often enjoy a book that does a good job aiming at lesser goals more than a book that does a bad job aiming at greater goals. Anyway, these books amuse me and are fun to read.
