Book Note: Alan E. Nourse, Derelict and The Dark Door

I read this book about 24-Mar-2011. This is the first time I've read this book. The book is copyright 1953. This note was last modified Monday, 30-May-2011 20:07:43 PDT.

This note contains spoilers for the book.

Two stories off Project Gutenberg.

In "Derelict", an alien space-ship comes by an exploring vessel which contains people with bad histories and desperate needs, and they fight about what to do with it.

"The Dark Door" is a crazy-protagonist story, or maybe he's not. Is he working with the scientists, or against them? I think, in the end, that he is in fact crazy.
