I read this book about 4-Jan-2005. I've read this book before. The book is copyright 1988. This note was last modified Thursday, 22-May-2014 15:27:58 PDT.
This is book 18 of the "David Audley" series.
This note contains spoilers for the book.
I've also got a general page on Anthony Price.
Another very unusual one. This one introduces new characters as the viewpoint characters -- investigative journalists who got a whiff of something. Which turns out to be a suspicion that David Audley murdered Philip Masson to keep him from getting charge of R&D back in 1978. That'd be the mess described in Tomorrow's Ghost. In which Philp Masson is never mentioned; and in fact the existence of a major outside candidate for head of R&D isn't mentioned that I can remember.
The new characters are fascinating, and the action is exciting, bringing out another IRA assassin (in fact Paddy MacManus was apparently trained by Mad Dog O'Leary), who chases them to Spain even. R&D looked at from the outside with a jaundiced eye is -- rather interesting.
