Senator he had the run-in with before turns her hand to her own dirty work, Davenport manages to manipulate girlfriend of one of the people killed along the way (not by the Senator) to kill her. This is back to his being results-oriented rather than process-oriented (or, as one might describe it, having no respect for the law).
