Book Note: James H. Schmitz, TNT: Telzey & Trigger

I read this book about 25-Feb-2002. This is the first time I've read this book. The book is copyright 1970, 1972. This note was last modified Saturday, 19-Aug-2006 10:45:37 PDT.

This note does not contain major spoilers for the book.

Volume 2 of the Baen books reissues, edited by Eric Flint.

I knew there was one of these somewhere. Letting Telzey and Trigger get together just isn't a good idea. Fun, though.

The ages of characters continue to trip me up. Partly that's because they're not in order, I think. But partly it's that Telzey, at 16, isn't very 16. As she says, having processed the entire lives of many adults, her functional age somewhat exceeds her chronological age. I guess I can buy that.

This was fun too, but I continue to feel that things aren't thought through, rabbits come out of hats, and they can't be read too seriously mostly.
