Minicon has been pretty much the high point of the year for me since, oh, let's say 1975. The last couple of years I haven't been too involved with running it (doing odd-jobs, special photos sometimes, and keeping the server running under the web site mostly). It's nice to get to relax and just participate sometimes.
This year is the 41st Minicon, with guests of honor Harlan Ellison, Doug Friauf, and John Picacio.
Minicon 41 is officially 14-16 April 2006. It's taking place in the Sheraton that used to be the Radisson South.
From my point of view, Minicon has started -- I went to the work party tonight, and am just putting up the first photos.
