Yeah, okay, the convention doesn't continue into Monday. But my social activities associated with the convention do.
Photos are all preliminary versions; I use a lot of automation, and not that much personal attention, to get pictures up fast. Some day I should come through and improve the versions posted. But mostly I never do.
Technical note: right now many of the people are identified in the IPTC keywords field, but this isn't automatically imported into the title or description displayed in the snapshot gallery. So don't waste too much time entering identifications as comments until you've checked the IPTC data (see that link labeled IPTC when you view the big version of the picture?).
This year, as with most years for the past 15 or some such, Minicon Fish Fest (sushi run to Sakura) was the first event. Quite a few of my friends from out of town come to this.
Then a bunch of us went to see Minnehaha Falls (which was Cally Soukup's idea, and attracted quite a crowd).
Sharon and Richard hosted the Dead Dodo party at Dreampark, and I thought it was a great success. The cream of consuite soup was widely praised, and I enjoyed the tostadas. Games were played, much talking was done, and perhaps some small dent was made in the remaining supplies.
