My 49th Birthday

Or at least the things I did today.

Beth had a brunch that had nothing to do with my birthday; but it was good, fun, and did give me a chance for some last shots of the house we owned for 11 years, in one of the cleaner and barer states it's ever been seen in.

(In the captions, I refer to rooms by what Beth used them for, which is not always the same thing we used them for when we lived there.)

These were interesting to work with. I got to do a number of minor perspective warps to make the hand-held wideangle lens (17mm * 1.5x effective focal length) work better. Boy, this digital editing thing is so fine.

Then some more shots of my mother's house in Northfield, still painted that horrid green.

And I've now got the people shots (mostly by Pamela) up, too.
