This time I went up to one of the higher overlooks. The weather was just
on the edge of rain, which had advantages and disadvantages. I rather

I remember this radio tower from my visits as a child. It always reminded me of an H.G. Wells martian fighting machine.
Tanker Kodiak heading for the Golden Gate. This might possibly be a US-flagged ship built in 1978, and owned at the end of 2006 by SeaRiver Maritime. If so, it's rated at 124,751 DWT. I can spot the US flag on the little boat (pilot boat?) behind the Kodiak, but I can't find one on the big ship. The deck plumbing certainly seems compatible with its being a tanker. Kodiak
