The billboards on the southwest corner of Nicollet Ave. and 38th St. are in pretty bad shape. In fact a lot of billboards around the city seem to be. I imagine people aren't buying advertising on billboards right now, either, and Clearchannel and the other companies aren't sending people around just to take down the old ones.
Eventually they wear out.
When I went out the back door with the camera to take these pictures, I could hear it blowing in the wind from a block away.
