Uncle Hugo's (and Uncle Edgar's) re-opened Sunday, 14-Aug-2022 in their new
location at 2716 E. 31st St., Minneapolis. Except for small signs in the windows,
there's no signage for them yet, the old tenant is on the side of the bilding and
the awnings.
Exit corridor. Don says the painting is WPA work from when the building was built as a Post Office in the 1920s.
There's a stropng-room with an actual vault door, from when this building was a Post Office.
Vault door says "Herring-Hall-Marvin Safe Co.. / Hamilton, O.". Ontario?
As of 14-Aug-2022 the awnings still have the name of the old business, but Uncle Hugo's and Uncle Edgar's are open (on a shortened schedule to begin with).
The new Uncle Hugo's location at 2716 31st St. E., Minneaoplis. New signs aren't up yet, but they're open short hours as of 14-Aug-2022.
