Spring in Minnesota

Spring in Minnesota

As of Friday, the lake at work has clearly started to melt; we’re at that weird stage where there’s a layer of water on top of a solid sheet of ice. The snow cover has retreated from much of the lawn (and I expect is pretty much gone now; it’s been a warm weekend).

Of course, we could still have more snowfall.

Minnehaha Falls is Dry

They must have blocked the lake outflow at the head of the creek; it rained yesterday, and there’d be something more to show for it if they left things alone.
